Lectionary 2024 Uca. The revised common lectionary (rcl) is an ecumenical three year cycle of bible readings used by many churches throughout the world. From this sunday 7 july until 14 july, australians will mark naidoc week, an opportunity to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of aboriginal and torres strait islander peoples.
Each year, the uniting church in south australia provides congregations and individuals with lectionary readings and important dates related to the life of the church in its annual calendar publication. Each week, a different circle will share a reflection based on one of the lectionary readings for the coming sunday offered through the lens of that particular circle.
